 HOLISTIC INTEGRATIVE CARE CENTER

Fueled by her passion to give utmost care to her ailing father,  medical practitioner Dr. Imelda “Meddie” Edodollon a MT, MD, NMD went to the United Stated and studied integrative medicine – a medical approach different from the conventional one that Filipinos are used to.

Upon her return in the country, she opened  HOLISTIC INTEGRATIVE CARE CENTER (HICC).  Inspired by her best friend's dream of opening a Holistic care center with a slogan “Providing Healing that Cares”.

Mind you Dr. Meddie, has been a medical practitioner for years.  And she believes that integrative medicine is the best approach in healing the whole being of a person mind, body as well as the person’s spirit as well.

"Makikita mo sa sarili mo na healthy ka pero hindi ibig sabihin wala kang sakit, healthy ka kapag na balance mo na lahat including your mind and soul." ( ”You might have thought that you're healthy just because you have no physical manifestation of any ailments.  But that doesn't mean that you're not sick.  In order for you to be really healthy you should have a balance of everything body, mind and soul, " quips the good doctor.)

That is the main reason why Integrative medicine is the medicine of the future, of the new millennium.  In fact in holistic approacheverything about the patient is being treated – their mind, body and soul.

Diagnosing a patient can take at least an hour. This field of medical science combines the use of conventional medicine, traditional medicine, herbal medicine, proper and and monitored diet, lifestyle modification, psychological analysis and many other approaches depending on the condition of a patient. It establishes that sickness maybe brought about by many factors such as medical background, emotional problems, improper diet, constant stress, mental conditions and even environmental condition.

Dra. Meddie started practicing integrative medicine in 2012 and established Holistic Integrative Care Canter (HICC) in 2015 to cater  to the needs of patients who have had long standing, seemingly incurable illness like cancer, lungs, heart and kidney failure, diabetes, and unresolved illness by standard medical practice and procedures. She spent time studying many treatment methods and various medical institutions abroad offering alternative medical studies.
